How much f&b industry affected by this pandemic??

The food & beverage industry has been hit particularly ard by this Covid-19 strom. Normal restaurant operation have screeched to a half around the globe and many bussiness have been forced to pivot their offering in a bid to survive. Only pizza shops and other similar cateres already equipped to deliver and fulfill  carryout service have come out of this relatively unscathed. For the vast majority, however,  its been total disaster. And, sadly, many restaurants have closed never to return.
With the world now facing one of the wrost economic crises on record and millions  of people in from this industry losing their jobs, all indications crisis are still yet to be felt, and more seismic shifts are yet to come-socially and economically.

The global food&beverage industry report is segmented based on online food  chain and offline food chains. The outbreak of covid 19 had a dual impact on these segments. That include offline food chains that are restaurant and cafes that are entirely shutdown in some regions. Whereas online food deliveries are available.

The novel covid 19 has impacted the food and beverage industry in almost all regions including North America, Europe, Asia and rest of the world. 

The prominent players operating in the global food & beverage industry include Starbucks, Mc Donald's, SubWay, Burger king, KFC, Dunkin Donuts, Coca-Cola Co. among others. Due to outbreak of the Pandemic Coronavirus these companies are largely affected especially in any of the outbreak zones that is china, US, Italy and india. The restaurant have been mandated to shut down entirely. However the online food supply is available for instance Starbucks has shut half of its nearly 2000 outlets in china. However the online food ordering is still available.
